River Hills offers country living only a fifteen minute drive from the heart of Milwaukee. This village has a population of just 1,600, and almost all of the lots consist of five or more acres of land. River Hills is known for its sprawling estates which include privacy and mature trees. Located just west of Interstate 43 and 12 miles north of Downtown Milwaukee, River Hills is bordered by Brown Deer on the west and both Bayside and Fox Point on the east.

River Hills, along with Fox Point, Bayside, and Glendale, feeds into Nicolet High School. Also, University School of Milwaukee, a highly-regarded and well-renowned secondary prep school is located in River Hills.
